New Employee Orienation

The Human Resources Department at The Arizona Health Sceinces Center hosts New Employee Orienation each month at the Arizona Health Sciences Library. 

About:
New Employee Orientation (NEO) introduces new employees to the organization and culture of the University and provides employees with critical policy, procedure and resource information. Hiring departments should register new employees for a NEO session within the first week of employment.

The three-hour orientation session is interactive and informative and is designed to help new employees to be strategic in developing positive and satisfying work and life experiences. Topics include organization and governance, key policies and procedures, employee resources and services, benefits and perks, family resources, and life and work programs.

Schedule:
New Employee Orientation at the Arizona Health Sciences Center location is held on Wednesday mornings at 8:30AM.  There is a coffee shop right outside of the classroom.

Directions to Building:  The Arizona Health Sciences Library is located in the SouthWest corner of the UA College of Medicine.  If you are in the College of Medicine main lobby, head west down the hallway that is just to the left of the elevators.

Directions to Classroom:  Once in the AHS Library, immediatly turn to your RIGHT towards the "Java City" coffee bar.  The classroom, Room 2102, is the larger of the two classrooms down a short hallway on your LEFT. If you have any trouble locating the classroom, ask at the library's information desk and they will be happy to direct you.
